41st annual Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication! July 12-14 Portland, OR

In this 3-­‐day workshop, we will explore these questions and learn key essentials when working with children, and their families, who have experienced war, forced migration, and the threat of cultural devastation. Using strengths-­‐based approaches, we will share cultural teachings and current practices honoring our children in a relational manner for intercultural wellness and success.

Hospice Foundation of America

Hospice Foundation of America offers a series of online webinars with prominent experts focusing on adolescents and grief. HFa's Senior Bereavement Consultant Dr. Kenneth Doka is joined by another grief expert for each program; topics include: youth suicide (with Dr. Jack Jordan); , Adolescents and Traumatic loss (with Dr. Carla Sofka); and Adolescents Coping with Life-Threatening Illness (with Dr. Nancy Hogan).  HFA Webinars are affordable ways to conveniently access information from some of the best-known names in the field; the programs are archived online and can be used for both individual education or as a staff or volunteer training opportunity. Continuing Education (CE) credits are available for a wide range of professionals and are included in the registration price.
