Changemaker Supported
Community Expansion
In partnership with the New York Life Foundation, this grant cycle focuses on community expansion through innovation, encouraging applicants to explore and address their community’s unique needs to better support children who are grieving. During the first year, selected organizations will participate in the Childhood Bereavement Changemaker (CBC) initiative, gaining valuable training and resources in program evaluation through workshops, exercises, and individualized consultation. This process will help refine proposals and equip participants with the tools to measure and strengthen their impact.
Community Education Events
In partnership with the New York Life Foundation, this grant will award grants to fund local education events that equip professionals—such as teachers, counselors, and social workers—with the skills and knowledge they need to better support bereaved children in their communities. These funds are designed to enhance access to free or low-cost, high-quality training and foster collaboration in community settings.
