Hospice Calgary guides children, teens and families through the grieving process as they face a life-threatening illness and death of a loved one. Our team of professionals provide individual and family counselling, group support, 24 hour end-of-life care, consultation, and community response. We are engaged with teaching, ACSWB "A" credit workshops, and research. We operate two centres of care: Sage Centre and Rosedale Hospice.

The Help Us Understand Grief (HUUG) Program provides short term supports and counselling to children, youth, and families living with serious illness, dying, death, and grief. Like all of our services offered at Heart House Hospice, HUUG is available to families at no cost. HUUG also offers monthly events for children, youth and families who are bereaved.

Seasons Centre provides a variety of facilitated peer support groups for children 5 - 24 and their caregivers. Adult groups for parents who have had a spouse/life partner die and parents who have had a child under 24 die. There are also a variety of school programs offered. Community presentations on grief.
