The Children's Bereavement Center provides Peer Support Groups for children, teens and young adults (elementary through college)as well as adults who are grieving the death of a loved one. Cornerstone Hospice offers free bereavement counseling for adults and children living in Lake, Sumter, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Highlands, and Hardee counties in Florida. Cornerstone is also launching a Cornerstone's Kids program, that is open to any child, regardless of whether or not they have experienced a loss. This program is a series of virtual activities, some designed specifically for bereaved children, others open to any child in the community. Upon signing up for the Cornerstone's Kids program, children will receive a free welcome gift in the mail, as well as a card every year on the child's birthday and a card on the death anniversary of their loved one.
