United States

Canopy Counseling, LLC provides grief and trauma therapy for children, teens, and adults using creative outlets such as art and play therapy techniques, as well as talk therapy and summer camps. Grief is a natural response to the death of a loved one. It is an internal experience of deep sorrow which affects emotions, behavior, relationships, wellbeing, and connectedness. Significant loss brings intense grief. We understand that grief is a very personal experience, that healing from loss is not linear and does not follow predictable stages. Grief comes in waves, at times leaving you exhausted, isolated, disconnected, and unstable. Grief can also be shaped by your relationship to the person who died, the manner of death, whether the person was very ill prior to death, and so many other factors. We are committed to walk beside you as you process your loss and learn to reconnect with life in a meaningful way.
