Live Webcast: Help Grieving Students, March 24, 2011 4-5PM EST

Scholastic, through funding from the New York Life Foundation, is hosting a live webcast on how schools can support a grieving student.  Register and view the sneak preview from the Scholastic.com website.  Encourage faculty and staff from your local schools to attend.  The program will be available on-line after the program airs.

Childhood grief expert, pediatrician, and author Dr. David Schonfeld, MD, and Chris Park, president of the New York Life Foundation, will lead the webcast event with actual scenarios from children and parents, talk about misconceptions, and impart valuable advice on how educators and all other caring adults can best support grieving children—whether it's right after the loss or years later.

During the program, Chris and David will address questions and concerns that viewers send in during the webcast. Download the agenda here. A video of the live event will be available here post-webcast.
