Focus on Suicide and Helping Children and Teens

Coping with suicide is extremely painful and confusing for anyone, but it is particularly difficult for children and teenagers. Because suicide is sudden, unexpected and traumatic, children often need a lot of support to navigate the many emotions and fears that they have in the wake of their loved one’s death.
